Hitachi Rail 3000 Employee COVID Safety Solution
Returning 3000 employees to work following lockdown required a planned rollout of safety solutions for Hitachi Rail.
Bringing this many employees back to working on site took considerable planning across a number of stakeholders. We needed solutions to protect employees at every possible contact point; from their individual desks, to open plan areas, meeting and breakout spaces as well as canteens.
A three phase installation of desk screening, canteen screening as well as safety signage and solutions across meeting and open plan areas.
Phasing the installation and the return of the workforce over a six week period was a useful way to test the adoption of new working practices.
As an end-to-end service from design to installation, we were able to work collaboratively with the client on adaptations between phases as returning staff offered feedback and suggestions on how they needed to work with COVID compliant solutions.
